QR Order & Pay

The table orders itself. Your staff stop running back and forth.

Guests scan a QR, browse the menu in their own language, order, and pay — straight from their phone, no app to download. Every order fires to your POS and Kitchen Display the moment they tap send, so nothing is written twice and nothing gets lost.

The wait

Every table is waiting for someone

Waving for a menu, waving for a round, waving for the bill — the slowest part of service isn't the kitchen, it's the gap between wanting something and being able to ask.

The slowest part of service is the waiting.

Flagging a waiter

A ready-to-order table sits idle because no one's free to take it.

Waiting for the bill

The longest stretch of the meal — and the table can't turn until it's paid.

The app no one downloads

Ask a guest to install something at the table and you've already lost the order.

Scan to settled

The whole journey lives on one QR

One code on the table card, counter, or room. What the guest sees — menu, ordering, paying — is set by the Channel Profile behind it.

  1. 01 Scan

    A QR, not a download

The guest scans and the Quivi web app opens instantly. No install, no login — a session opens on their device and follows them across tabs.

  2. 02 Order

    Browse and add

Photos, categories, modifiers, and prices — all in the guest's own language. Their order joins the table's Session and fires to your POS and kitchen over SignalR.

  3. 03 Track

    Watch it come together

The guest follows their order live — Pending, Accepted, Preparing, Ready, Completed — so no one has to ask how long.

  4. 04 Pay

    Split it their way

Pay the whole bill, split equally, pick items, or enter a custom amount — by card, MB WAY, Revolut Pay, or any method on the Paybyrd hosted page. Everyone pays their share and the table's settled.

Their language

The menu speaks their language

Names, descriptions, and modifiers all render in the guest's own language, pulled live from your menu — not a printed translation that goes stale. Prices resolve to the active Pricing Profile, so what they see is exactly what they pay.

From the phone

Ordering, in the guest's hands

The cart is optimistic and always synced — a refresh never loses it. When the guest sends, the order is on your Kitchen Display before they've put their phone down.

The guest side

Everything the guest needs, nothing to install

One scan puts the full experience in their hands — order, track, and settle without ever flagging you down.

No app, ever

A web app opens on scan. No download, no account, no friction between the guest and the order.

Their language

The whole menu — dishes, descriptions, modifiers — in the language the guest already reads.

Order tracking

Live status from Pending to Completed, so guests know exactly where their food is.

Split any way

Total, equal by headcount, pick your items, a custom amount, or a free tip — five ways to settle.

Prepaid or post-paid

Pay-before-order for kiosk and online, pay-at-table on site — set per Channel.

Capture a review and show your own offers and links right after payment lands.

Order detail

Some orders need one more field.

A room number to charge to the folio. A party size so the kitchen plates for four. The delivery address, the allergy that matters. Add the field to the QR flow, mark it required, and the order can't be submitted without it. Text, number, checkbox or a longer note — set a default and it fills itself, or leave it for the guest. Each field has a printing target: send it to the kitchen ticket where the line cook reads it, put it on the bill, or keep it off paper entirely. A dietary note lands with prep; a room number rides along to checkout. No shouting across the pass, no order that arrives half-specified.

Right moment

Say the right thing at the right moment.

The Guest app can show a short message at five points in the order. You write each one; the guest sees it exactly when it matters. Tie any of them to an availability and it only shows at the right time of day.

  1. 1

    Before ordering

“Kitchen's slammed right now — orders may take a little longer than usual.”

  2. 2

    After ordering

“Order's in. Collect at the counter when your number's called.”

  3. 3

    Before paying

“Card's fine, but cash saves us the fee if you've got it.”

  4. 4

    After paying

“Thanks for coming in. See you again soon.”

  5. 5

    After review

“Cheers for the feedback — we read every one.”

Turn tables faster, without adding staff

Every order the guest places is one your team didn't have to take, and every bill they split is one your team didn't have to run. Service capacity goes up while the floor stays the same size.

Every self-served order and split bill is one your floor didn't run

Live to the floor

One tap, live to the whole operation

Guest orders join the table's Session and land on your POS and Kitchen Display in real time over SignalR — no re-keying, no runners relaying tickets. Every payment settles and reconciles against the same Session, so the bill on the phone and the bill on the pass are always the one truth.

Let the table do the ordering
